The YMCA Port Angeles Early Learning Center [ELC] is one of three new facilities across the Olympic Peninsula that provide families with safe, quality, affordable childcare options. At 8,000 square feet, the Port Angeles location is the largest of the three facilities, with room for up to 92 children ranging in age from newborn to 5 years old. The ELC features classrooms, STEM/Art room, gross motor area, kitchen, staff and administrative areas, outdoor playground, and laundry facilities.
Scope of work includes relocation and demolition of vacant residential units, utility upgrades and rerouting for commercial use, landscaping, construction of a combination steel and wood framed building, finish carpentry and casework, and MEPF and security systems.
