Mako's career in construction began in his hometown of Tokyo, Japan, where he obtained his architect's license and worked as a superintendent for several years. After moving to the U.S. and earning a Master's in Construction Management, he filled the roles of project manager, engineer, and procurement agent. Needless to say, he's worn many hats! When Mako isn't at the office, he is playing soccer with his son in the spring and summer and skiing in the winter.
